Phase Technologies is looking for a Power Electronics Design Engineer to work in developing new products based on power switching technology. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of product development from the initial specification of product functionality, working with team members to implement the hardware, and writing the software to implement the product.

Phase Technologies designs and manufactures innovative electronic products based on power switching technologies. Since 1999 the company has been the leading manufacturer of digital phase converters and digital power conditioners for commercial and industrial applications.

Required Skills and Proficiencies:
·A solid foundation in electrical engineering design principles
·Responsible for start to finish product design of products including concept design, performance specifications, component selection and qualification, and performance testing
·Prepare documentation for manufacturing specifications and regulatory agency approvals
·Experience in programming microprocessors in C language
·Implementation of control algorithms and communications strategies in software
·Possess strong analytical ability
·Working knowledge of power electronics systems
·Organizational and leadership skills to lead multidisciplinary teams through the product development process
·Support other staff in failure analysis and product technical support
·Requires good communication skills, both written and oral, to cooperate with other departments in a team atmosphere
·Familiar with mitigating EMI and EMC in power electronics

Required Education and Experience:
·MSEE preferred, BSEE with appropriate direct experience
·Focus on power electronics curriculum preferred
